Description:
Reports to: Regional Sales Manager
As a Business Development Associate, your focus will be on proactively developing new customer accounts while supporting and growing existing ones. You will sell and promote BGI’s portfolio of multi-omics services, including DNA sequencing, RNA sequencing, proteomics, and gene regulatory and epigenetic assay services to academic, institutional, biotech, and pharmaceutical clients. You will report to the RSM.
Responsibilities:
- Develop new customer accounts and generate sales revenue from BGI’s genomics services.
- Represent BGI in all sales-related activities within your territory, including identifying potential collaborations.
- Lead projects requiring coordination with cross-functional teams, including lab personnel, investigators, and project managers.
