Job Description

A world leading defense OEM are embarking on an exciting period of growth and are looking for an ambitious Buyer with experience of procuring electronic components such as PCBs, resistors, sensors, inductors, fuses and similar. The business has a sustainable growth mindset with long term projects underpinning the growth strategy that will allow you, as a Buyer, to progress your career as the business prospers.

The salary depends on the level of relevant experience as roles are available up to Senior level ($70-90k per annum plus a fantastic bonus scheme).
Some key responsibilities of the buyer include: 
Expedite orders with direction from management

Negotiate blanket purchase orders and purse cost reduction initiatives that eliminate adverse purchase price index (PPI)

Manage supplier quality using the Non-Conforming Report (NCR) Process; Minimize production disruption by ensuring that discrepant materials are addressed with ME,...
