Technical Staffing Resources (TSR) has an immediate need for a Buyer. This is a long-term contract position with a global EPC company located in Newark, DE.


Job Responsibilities:

Conduct commercial reviews of procurement packages.

Negotiate favorable terms, discounts, and contracts with suppliers for the procurement of goods, services, and materials. Negotiate and execute purchase contracts.

Negotiate and deliver cost savings to meet business requirements and procurement organization objectives.

Coordinate and leads bid meetings, final negotiations, and drafting/final purchase documents.

Coordinate closeout of purchase orders, finalize outstanding contract issues, issue final modifications, invoices, and coordinate completion of supplier performance evaluations.

Maintain supplier relationships and resolve complex supplier issues.
