Job Description
Responsible for analyzing MRP system requirements and ensuring the timely placement of purchase orders, as well as managing suppliers, inventory levels, and material flow to support continuous operations and meet performance targets related to cost, service, and quality.
Responsibilities- Place purchase orders based on ERP/MRP demand signals
- Monitor open orders to ensure on-time delivery
- Evaluate supplier performance in terms of quality, delivery, and responsiveness
- Manage inventory levels to ensure operational continuity
- Track and manage key performance indicators:
- Purchase Price Variance (PPV)
- Inventory levels
- Shortages
- Supplier performance
- Collaborate with Finance on cost management and updates
- Follow up with Accounts Payable regarding supplier-related issues
