Job Description Summary

Responsible for processing requisitions and tooling orders, managing and resolving issues, and supporting the process.

Responsibilities

• Obtain goods, materials and services in accordance with AAM Procurement corporate policies and procedures.
• Ensure suppliers meet cost and timeline objectives throughout the sourcing process.
• Review and process incoming requests/orders and update orders with changes or revisions as necessary.
• Coordinate with suppliers and business partners to resolve routine issues such as overdue purchase orders, match exceptions, pricing or invoice issues, updating or increasing purchase orders, etc.
• Support request for quotes and bid evaluation as necessary for items above the bid threshold that are not under contract, and for items that are not part of the overall category management sourcing process.
