Job SummaryReporting to the Manager, Line Maintenance, the Cabin Interior Furnishing Technician is responsible for the repair and maintenance of aircraft interior parts and components.

Duties & Responsibilities

• Carry out repair and maintenance on aircraft interior parts and components such as aircraft seats, tray tables, cushions, carpets, cabin interior lighting and commissary equipment
• Perform maintenance under the supervision of the Line Maintenance ACA or AME
• Ensure that all documentation used for the repair of parts/components are to the latest amendment
• Ensure safety rules, regulations and precautions are being observed by all employees
• Ensure the shop/hangar is tidy at the end of the shift
• Maintain equipment/tools in good working condition
• Assist in on the job training for new employees and apprentices
