Cabling Team Leader / Supervisor Fibre & UTP (Gauteng)

Overview

Job Purpose: To lead and supervise a team of cabling technicians in the installation, termination, testing, and maintenance of fibre optic and UTP cabling systems. The role ensures projects are delivered on time, to specification, and in compliance with safety and quality standards.

Responsibilities

• Lead and coordinate day-to-day activities of cabling teams on site
• Install, terminate, and test fibre optic and UTP structured cabling systems.
• Read and interpret technical drawings, site plans, and cabling schematics.
• Ensure all cabling works meet industry standards (, TIA/EIA, ISO/IEC).
• Conduct site surveys and assist in planning routes and methods of installation.
• Monitor job progress and report regularly to the Project and Division Manager.
