Role Overview

An opportunity is available for an Engineer Design Checker to support a Mechanical and Energetics department. This role involves working within a design and drafting group to check drawing and design packages for proper content and compliance with applicable industry and military standards. The position is based on-site in Chandler, Arizona.

Key Responsibilities

Review mechanical drawings with appropriate personnel to verify completed work, checking dimensions, materials, and quantities.

Check designs for fit, function, manufacturability, and economy of fabrication, including tolerance analysis and hardware selection.

Verify 3D models submitted to manufacturing using Siemens NX managed with Teamcenter.

Serve as an expert in GD&T to resolve interpretation issues on drawings.
