Job Description

POSITION SUMMARY:

The Calibration Supervisor is responsible for managing the MSD Calibration and Preventative Maintenance Program. This position will directly supervise calibration technicians and ensure employee proficiency. 


DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES

  • Manage and participate in calibration and calibration coordination activities. Coordinate with validation and metrology contractors to schedule recurrent calibration activities and certifications as a Quality representative. Schedule and coordinate internal equipment calibrations and preventative maintenance (PM) with directly responsible individuals (DRIs).
    Track off-site equipment status and equipment repairs.

  • Supervise calibration technicians responsible for performing equipment calibration, PM activities, and pipette calibration.
