JOB SUMMARY: Under general direction, the Campus Security Guard’s primary role is to prevent crime and the breach of public order. Primary responsibilities include protecting students, faculty, staff, campus visitors, patients, property, and facilities from accidents, bodily harm, fire, theft, vandalism, and illegal entry. Other daily responsibilities include enforcing local, state and federal law and LECOM Policy and Procedure related to traffic and parking regulations, apprehending violators, providing general information and assistance to the public, conducting investigations and participating in community oriented policing efforts. Must be available for 2nd, 3rd, weekend, and holiday shifts Our need is greatest right now for coverage on Saturdays and Sundays.
