Overview
Cardiothoracic Operating Room Scrub Registered Nurse is responsible for maintaining a safe and sterile environment throughout the surgical procedure for the cardiothoracic patient. Responsibilities includemanaging surgical instruments, maintaining sterility and a sterile field, assisting the surgeon by providing necessary tools, performing surgical counts to ensure no instruments are left behind, and coordinating with the broader surgical team.
