Cardiovascular Technologist II – The role assists physicians in diagnosing and treating cardiac and peripheral vascular disease in an invasive procedure arena specializing in the care of patients undergoing basic diagnostic catheterization and interventional procedures. Under limited supervision, this position functions as a resource to staff.

Job Duties

• Performs scrub duties and related procedures for cardiac interventions, left heart catheterization, and right and left heart catheterization with no assistance.
• Performs scrub duties and related procedures for peripheral diagnostics or interventions with minimal assistance.
• Ability to scrub, gown, glove and set up back table with necessary equipment.
• Records cardiac interventions and hemodynamics with accuracy. Monitors procedure and documents inventory used and order of events appropriately in MacLab event log. Requires only occasional minimal assistance.
