School Caretaker Required – Hodge Hill, Birmingham
Start Date: End of August 2026 (ready for the new academic year)
Contract: until the end of the academic year
Hours: Monday to Friday, 9:00am – 3:00pm
The Supply Register is recruiting on behalf of a welcoming secondary school in Hodge Hill for an experienced School Caretaker to join the site team from the end of August.
We're looking for someone who has previous site management or caretaking experience, ideally within a school environment. You will play a key role in ensuring the school site is safe, secure, clean and well-maintained for pupils, staff and visitors.
Key Responsibilities
Opening and locking the school as required, including key holding responsibilities.
Ensuring the security of the school site throughout the day.
Carrying out routine maintenance and minor repairs, including painting, decorating, basic plumbing and changing light fittings.
General upkeep of the school bu...
