Cashier

Responsibilities

• A cashier is responsible for handling customer transactions in a retail or service setting
• Customer Transactions: Process sales transactions accurately by scanning items, applying discounts, and accepting payments (cash, credit/debit cards, or mobile payments).
• Customer Service: Greet customers, address inquiries, and resolve issues or complaints related to payments or products.
• Cash Handling: Manage the cash register, ensure correct change is given, and maintain a balanced cash drawer throughout the shift.
• Inventory Assistance: Occasionally assist with stocking shelves or organizing products, if needed.

Qualifications
