Overview

A Cashier is responsible for handling transactions at a retail or service establishment, ensuring accurate payment processing, and providing excellent customer service.

Responsibilities

• Handle transactions accurately, process payments, and provide correct change while delivering courteous customer service.

Qualifications

• Education: A high school diploma or equivalent is preferred, but not always required.
• Experience: Previous experience in retail, customer service, or a similar role.
• Basic Math Skills: Ability to accurately process transactions, handle cash, and provide correct change.
• Communication Skills: Strong verbal communication skills to interact effectively with customers and colleagues.
