Cashier

Key Responsibilities

• Greet customers and provide friendly service.
• Scan and bag items efficiently.
• Process cash, credit, debit, and other payment methods.
• Issue receipts and provide change accurately.
• Answer customer inquiries and resolve basic complaints.
• Maintain cleanliness and organization at the checkout area.
• Follow company policies on cash handling and security.
• Assist with stocking and organizing merchandise when needed.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent (preferred but not always required).
• Basic math skills and attention to detail.
• Customer service skills and a friendly attitude.
• Ability to stand for long periods.
