Sun Chemical is seeking a Category Leader - Indirect Procurement to manage sourcing strategies for various Indirect spend categories (Capital/Equipment, MRO, Energy, HR, IT, Travel, . Role will be responsible for category management and strategy development, identifying, and executing productivity initiatives to optimize value while improving service and quality levels. 

ESSENTIAL JOB FUNCTIONS:

• Define a fully comprehensive category strategy for Indirect goods and services based on assessments of internal and external markets. 

• Translate regional/global procurement strategy into detailed category plans with a set of measurable global, regional, and local targets.
• Facilitate procurement processes and policies for regional/global alignment.
• Identify opportunities for cost reduction and avoidance attributable to the P&L.
