The Domestic Abuse Coordinator role is a busy and demanding role at Halifax Police Station. It involves working closely with partners and victims of domestic abuse, supporting them through the investigation and court process, sign‑posting them to other agencies and offering them new and innovative technology to safeguard them.

It is important you are able to work alone and to engage with our partners to further support victims. The role also includes supporting people through the Domestic Violence Disclosure Scheme, the court process, updating them in relation to investigations, supporting your colleagues, learning and engaging with innovative solutions to support victims of domestic abuse.
