Job Description
**In This Role, Your Responsibilities Will Be:**
+ •Operate a Class A or B commercial vehicle to transport materials safely and efficiently
+ •Load and unload materials using a forklift and by manually handling goods as needed
+ •Inspect truck and equipment (tires, lights, brakes, fuel, oil, and fluids) to ensure safe operation
+ •Maintain accurate driver logs in accordance with state and federal regulations
+ •Prepare and process delivery documentation, including receipts and shipping paperwork
+ •Verify shipment accuracy by checking items against bills of lading, invoices, and vendor paperwork
+ •Coordinate with supervisors to receive delivery instructions and report status updates
+ •Secure cargo to prevent damage during transport
+ •Follow all traffic laws, DOT regulations, and company safety policies
+ •Maintain a clean and organized vehicle and work area
