Cellular Pathologist - Consultant level

The hospital currently serves a local population of approximately 250,000. The workload covers non-gynaecological cytology and a broad range of general histopathology. The appointee will be provided with their own individual office, excellent microscope with imaging facility and secretarial support.
This an opportunity to join a high achieving, friendly, well-run department with a stable workforce. The opportunity for the appointee to participate in the autopsy service is available, but not a requirement of the post.
The post holder must have the following:
• MBChb or equivalent
• Full specialist registration with the General Medical Council (or eligible for registration within six months of interview)
