**Position Purpose**

The **Certified Central Sterile Supply Tech** is responsible for cleaning, decontaminating, sterilizing, and assembling patient care equipment, supplies and instruments according to prescribed procedures and techniques to provide a positive patient outcome.

**What you will do**

+ Sterilizes instru­ments and supplies by using steam or plasma sterilizer.
+ Prepares and maintains adequate par levels of equipment and supplies.
