POSITION SUMMARY This position is responsible for providing specialized skills in assessment, planning and treatment to prevent dysfunction, restore function and/or reverse the progression of pathology of the upper limbs. Excellent clinical judgment and therapeutic interventions will be utilized to treat surgical and non-surgical conditions. Rehabilitation will be inclusive of the hand, wrist, elbow, and shoulder girdle, cervical area and how these areas effect the entire upper quarter.
RESPONSIBILITIES AND ACCOUNTABILITIESTreatment: Evaluates, and re-evaluates, upper extremity diagnoses thoroughly identifying impairments, functional limitations and disabilities.
