Summary The Certified Registered Nurse Anesthetist (CRNA) practices to the full extent of their education, training, and certification. Core functions are outlined in the clinical privileges or scope of practice that correspond with this position and determined locally within the limits of the individual's state license and the local VA Medical Center bylaws. The CRNA provides advanced clinical practice, consultation, and management. Responsibilities Major duties include, but are not limited to: Collaborate with a variety of health care professionals to achieve common goals for care, safety, and welfare of patients. Foster high levels of confidence and satisfaction among patients and staff, as well as meet and exceed compliance standards.
