Seeking a dedicated and compassionate full-time Certified Nurse Midwife to join talented team providing care to women northeast of Durham, NC.


Position Summary/Duties:

Mon-Fri, 8am - 5pm

Will provide obstetric care from the new obstetric visit throughout pregnancy and including the postpartum visit as follows: Complete the new obstetric exam with identification of any problems complicating pregnancy or pre-existent to pregnancy. Initiate plan of care/diagnostic testing/interpretation of labs/treatment plan based on individual patient medical/surgical history. Provide patient education relating to pregnancy, childbirth and postpartum care. Perform FHR assessment, NST interpretation, cervical exam for labor assessment. Provide comprehensive care and support to low-risk laboring patients, ensuring a safe and positive childbirth experience.
