POSITION PURPOSE:
To provide non-clinical support to individuals in the community.
A member of the Community Treatment Team that provides community-based services to adults with mental health and co-occurring disorders.
WHAT YOU WILL DO:
Will provide non-clinical support to individuals in the community.
As a Certified Peer Specialist (CPS), you are first and foremost a peer – meaning that you have lived experience with mental illness and/or addition – and can serve as a role model for recovery values and principles, providing hopeful information about recovery and wellness.
Will provide stage wise treatment interventions based on the consumer’s stage of change.
