CRNAs are professional Registered Nurses duly licensed and certified to practice as a Certified Registered Nurse Anesthetists, registered with the American Association of Nurse Anesthetists, and have completed a graduate curriculum focusing on clinical judgment and critical thinking in all aspects of anesthesia care.
