The Certified Registered Nurse Anesthetist prepares prescribed solutions and administers anesthetic following specified methods and procedures. The CRNA informs the physician of patient's condition during anesthesia. Performs pre- and post-anesthesia patient visits and documents anesthesia notes on patient records.

Hours per week: 40

Provide anesthesia care to a wide variety of patients from pre-term neonates to geriatrics. Administers appropriate anesthetics in consultation with the attending anesthesiologist in a manner consistent with standards of practice.
