**Job Summary**
To perform Shielded Metal Arc Welding (SMAW), MIG, TIG, oxyacetylene in accordance with American Welding Society (AWS) A5.18 Structural Welding Code - Steel, and braze, cut, solder and shape metaland special alloys in the fabrication and repair of equipment and structures.
**Responsibilities***
+ Perform (SMAW) electric arc, MIG, TIG, and acetylene welding on equipment including pipe, tanks, machine
+ parts, metal structures, fixtures and fittings in accordance with (AWS) A5.18 Structural Welding Code standards, codes and specifications.
+ Prepare objects for welding by cleaning and filing, positioning, aligning and clamping.
+ Set up and adjust acetylene and arc welding equipment.
