Completes spiritual needs assessments and formulates interventions strategies based on professional best practice guidelines for addressing spiritual care needs.

Actively collaborates with all members of the treatment team, furthering team-based understanding of significant spiritual needs and spiritual/emotional factors contributing to the patient's well-being.

In coordination with other IDT members, provides patient/family/staff support in times of crisis, death or difficult diagnoses per hospital and professional protocols.
