Charge Up Blaster for Red Chris Mine

Become a Charge Up Blaster with Barminco Mining Services Canada Ltd. at the Red Chris Mine in beautiful British Columbia. This role operates on a flexible FIFO schedule of 14 days on and 14 days off.
As a Charge Up Blaster, you will report to the Shift Supervisor, ensuring the effective and safe use of explosives while upholding high safety standards. Candidates should have a strong background in underground mining, ideally 2-5 years of experience, and a current Blaster's Ticket. This role plays an essential part in enhancing productivity and workflow within a diverse team.
Key Responsibilities:
• Ensure safe handling and storage of explosive materials
• Assemble explosive charges and loads as per guidelines
• Perform pre and post blast checks on site
• Complete daily paperwork and reports diligently
• Maintain proper communication and teamwork among crew
