Job Description

As a lecturer in Laboratory Techniques (Biotechnology), you are responsible for transmitting your knowledge to students, designing course content and evaluating learning. Among the skills and concepts taught are:


  • Cell biology, genetics and microbiology;

  • General, organic and analytical chemistry;

  • Biochemistry and molecular biology;

  • Instrumental analysis techniques and quality control;

  • Cell cultures, bioprocesses and fermentation;

  • Good Laboratory Practices (GLP), Good Manufacturing Practices (GMP), WHMIS and Biosafety;

  • Mathematical and statistical tools applied to biotechnologies.
  • Status: Contract - Laboratory Techniques (Biotechnology) Programme - 210.AA.


    Location: LaSalle College - Montreal Campus and/or Laval Campus.
