Chartered Building Surveyor

This is a rare opportunity for a Chartered Building Surveyor to dedicate their career exclusively to the historic environment. Our client is a specialist practice whose project list reads like a roll call of Britain's heritage - castles, cathedrals, churches and Scheduled Ancient Monuments. They are now seeking a professionally curious MRICS surveyor who wants to build a team and progress to a senior leadership position, while working alongside some of the most respected names in building conservation.

The Role

You will split your time between detailed condition surveys and managing conservation repair projects from design through to completion. The work is exclusively within the heritage sector, spanning iconic public landmarks and vernacular listed private homes. The practice holds IRATA rope access accreditation, and full training is available for candidates who wish to add this capability - though there is absolutely no requirement to work at height.
