Job Description
Chief Officer
Start date: 10th August 2011
Rotation: 3 week on / 3 week off rotation
The Senior DPO of the vessel should have:
• Chief Mate – II/2 – STCW95.
• DP Operators Certificate issued by the Nautical Institute.
Mandatory Entry Level Requirements:
• Certificate of Competency with 1995 STCW Code/ Certificate of Equivalent Competency (For people holding non UK COC)
• ENG 1 (Certificate of Medical Fitness)
• DP Operator Certificate
• Certificate of Proficiency in Survival Craft
• Certificate of Proficiency – Person in Charge of Medical Care Onboard Ship
• Global Maritime Distress Safety System (GMDSS)
• UKOOA Medical
• OPITO Survival
• MIST
• Employing Company Induction
