Chief Strategy Officer (CSO)
The Chief Strategy Officer (CSO) is a critical executive role responsible for defining, driving, and executing the overall strategic direction of a leading Public Listed Company (PLC) in Malaysia. Reporting directly to the Group CEO, this position leads the Strategy, Transformation, and Strategic Delivery functions. The CSO serves as a key advisor to the CEO and the Board, bridging the gap between long-term vision and operational impact.
Key Accountabilities
1. Corporate Strategy Development
- Lead the development of short-, medium-, and long-term corporate strategies aligned with business goals.
- Conduct market, competitor, and industry analysis to identify growth opportunities.
- Facilitate annual strategic planning and review cycles across various business units.
- Provide high-level strategic recommendations to the CEO and senior leadership team.
