Overview
Assist the Child Care teaching staff in the provision of quality custodial care for attending children, ensuring the emotional, physical, intellectual, and social needs of children are met, and ensuring compliance with all state regulations and department policies and procedures.

* Assists with activities, encourages children involvement, and interacts with each child in a caring and supportive manner.
* Assists in maintaining the routine of each child according to prescribed procedures, and attending to the physical and nurturing needs of each child on an individual basis, while teaching independence. Ensures smooth transition for child and parent at arrival and departure times.
* Follows established department procedures to ensure consistent and positive child care techniques are followed.
* Promotes integral learning, and helps to develop cooperation and supportive attitudes in the classrooms.
