We're hiring a senior developer at Cresconet — Christchurch, full-time, hybrid working.

Through our GridWide and GreenSync brands, our platform ingests billions of meter reads every day from utility customers across Australia, New Zealand, the United States and the United Kingdom, conforms them into a unified utility data model, delivers the regulated measurements that market settlement depends on, and coordinates the household renewables and IoT assets running alongside. The pipelines cannot be late, cannot be wrong, and cannot stop.

You'd work on streaming data infrastructure at billions-of-events-per-day scale (MSK Kafka, EMR Spark, Iceberg, Aurora), ingestion adapters for many meter manufacturers and head-ends, master data and the utility domain model, validation/estimation logic where being wrong has real settlement consequences, and load control / DER dispatch coordinating household batteries and EV chargers at fleet scale.
