The purpose of this position is to oversee all Civil Construction work to check compliance to applicable Standards, Designs and Specifications and the Quality Management Plan. The person will conduct a surveillance level of inspection to ensure full compliance of project requirements.
Responsibilities
- Inspect excavations, foundations, roads and hardstands, storm water measures and buildings during and after construction for quality, general safety and conformance to design, specifications and standard codes.
- Review and interpret drawings, site layouts, specifications, and construction methods to ensure compliance to legal requirements and safety regulations.
- Monitor civil and construction activities to ensure that all work is performed properly and is in compliance with applicable regulations.
