**JOB SUMMARY**


This position is responsible for Civil Sitework design to support Southern Company’s Transmission and Distribution (T&D) Substation Design Group as well as providing support to the Transmission Line Design Group. The Engineer will produce engineering drawings, specifications, and material requirements for Civil Sitework design projects which includes, but is not limited to, grading and drainage, erosion control, oil containment, etc. with an emphasis on safety, quality, scheduling, and costs. This position will require some travel (approximately 25%) and the ability to work successfully in a hybrid work environment with reliable access to internet service.
