Job Description

Driver Hire Burton are recruiting for two Class 2 / Cat C refuse drivers for an immediate start on behalf of our client based just outside of Appleby Magna.

You will be responsible for driving the class 2 vehicle, and you will have a drivers mate / porter with you. This role is full-time, ongoing. It’s a Monday to Friday position with a start time of 6am.


Induction and assessments required before you start.


Position start date: 08/06/2026

  • 6 months Class 2 driving experience

  • A valid UK Driving Licence with CAT C entitlement

  • Digi Tacho Card

  • CPC card

  • Have no more than six points on your licence (for insurance purposes)

  • Must have driven in the past 6 months

    • Pay:

  • £14.50 per hour PAYE + holidays

  • £16.25 per hour PAYE inclusive of holidays
