Job Description

SUMMARY DESCRIPTION
Under general supervision of the School Nurse, administers first aid and provides care for ill or injured students. With appropriate training, they perform delegable nursing services according to the Nevada School Nurse Regulation and Advisory Opinion, Nevada Revised Statutes, Chapter . This position also communicates changes in student health status to the School Nurse, school authorities, parents/guardian, maintains student health and immunization records and performs related work as assigned.

ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES

Provides First Aide
Renders first aide to injured or ill students following Student Health Services policies and American Heart Association/American Red Cross standards; administers CPR in life-threatening emergencies.
