Clinical Assistant Professor - General

Job Summary: You will engage primarily in clinical and educational activities with an
appropriate balance of administration and scholarly/academic
activities. Teaching of medical students and residents through an
administrative or academic role within the Department of Family
Medicine are expected. Appropriate administrative duties will include
participation in the decision-making process of the department. Other
duties include but are limited to: teaching and liaison activities with
other departments when appropriate, professional and personal
counseling of medical students, preparation and delivery of
appropriate lectures and seminars, and provision of direct patient
care through the department's medical service group. Overall
supervision is provided by the Chair of the Department of Family
Medicine, Norton College of Medicine, SUNY Upstate Medical University.
