Job Responsibilities
The Clinical Data Specialist is responsible for providing clinical data management and operational support for clinical research studies initiated by the Pregnancy & Perinatal Research Center, including the ECHO study, as follows:
Ensure accurate, efficient, and complete data collection from clinical study sites. Writing, reviewing and maintaining electronic case report completion guidelines, data management plan, data validation plan, and other data management related documentation
Perform all aspects of clinical data management process as related to processing and quality control of the data. Clean data for study close out and perform all database lock procedures. Conduct data quality review and validation activities, including basic descriptive analyses using programming languages such as SAS or Python, as appropriate
