The Clinical Dietitian:
Provides quality medical nutrition therapy to a variety of patients, including nutrition assessment, diagnosis, intervention, evaluation, education, and monitoring. Communicates effectively with other health care professionals. Serves as preceptor/mentor for dietetic interns and department staff. Follows correct hand hygiene procedures (sanitizes hands before and after entering patient rooms, washes hands as needed, etc.).
