Nuffield Orthopaedic Centre is a teaching hospital and is of sites of the Oxford University Hospitals NHS Foundation Trust. It provides a service for the clinical management of musculoskeletal problems its facilities include Orthopaedics, Rheumatology, Rehabilitation and a specialised diagnostic service in Histopathology and Medical Imaging.

There are orthopaedic in-patient wards, in-patient bone infection unit, HDU/Recovery with an overall total of beds, operating theatres and a purpose built day surgery unit.
