Applications are invited for the above post to be based at the John Radcliffe Hospital in Oxford starting from May, , for a fixed term period of months, potentially extendable by mutual agreement. 

Oxford University Hospitals NHS Foundation Trust (OUHFT) is a major trauma centre and hub for the Thames Valley Vascular Unit (TVVU) which includes two major spoke Trusts (Bucks Healthcare NHS Trust (BHT) and the Royal Berkshire Foundation Trust (RBHFT)) and covers a population of approximately million patients. The catchment is large for the number of vascular surgeons and therefore it is one of the busiest units in the UK undertaking the full remit of procedures including: more than aortic procedures (open and endovascular), up to carotid procedures a year, deep venous reconstructions, – lower limb bypass surgeries as well as thoracic outlet surgery and support to the major trauma team.
