Job Description
Orthopaedic Clinical Lead – Theatre Oxford The Manor Hospital, Theatres | Permanent | Full time | competitive rates depending on experience | 37.5 hours per week
Responsibilities
- Clinical Leadership & Practice Standards
- Provide expert professional and clinical leadership to Orthopaedic theatre teams
- Act as the specialist lead for orthopaedic surgical procedures and theatre workflows
- Set, monitor, and maintain high standards of perioperative care in line with national guidance, Trust policies, and SOPs
- Demonstrate visible leadership, promoting professionalism, accountability, and a culture of safety
- Governance, Quality & Patient Safety
- Lead clinical governance within orthopaedic theatres
- Ensure compliance with WHO surgical safety standards, infection prevention, implant traceability, and documentation
