The role of the Clinical Nurse Educator is to provide professional practice and work-place clinical education to all nursing staff employed in the Operating Theatre, major components of the position include; 

• Supporting the Nurse Unit Manager in the development and maintenance of care standards by providing strong leadership with an education focus Including 
• Facilitating the transition of new graduates, undergraduate and other nursing staff to the clinical environment by supporting action learning in the clinical setting, including transition to specialty practice (TSP) staff
