**Advanced Practice Registered Nurse - Clinical Nurse Specialist**
**(APRN-CNS)**

CNSs provide expertise and support to nurses caring for patients at the bedside, help drive practice changes throughout the organization, and ensure the use of best practices and evidence-based care to achieve the best possible patient outcomes.

**This position is open to both Clinical Nurse Specialists and Nurse Practitioners. The ideal candidate will have at least 1 year of Neuro experience.**

**CLINICAL PRACTICE** : Provide expert consultation and collaboration on care of high-risk patients and families within area of specialty

+ Provide direct and indirect nursing care to patients and families
+ Round with patients/nurses and interdisciplinary teams
+ Proactively monitor nursing practices and analyze data for trends
