About the role
An experienced Mental Health Registered Nurse with acute mental health experience is invited to join our multi‑disciplinary team at Whare Whakaue. The role provides clinical leadership and supports changes to service delivery following the migration to our new build.
As a Clinical Nurse Specialist (CNS), you will contribute to nursing knowledge and skills in the assessment of health needs, planning and delivery of nursing care, ensuring alignment with Te Ara Tauwhirotanga (the Model of Care for Mental Health and Addiction Services) and the Mental Health & Addiction Nursing Strategy. Working within the acute inpatient setting, you will work alongside patients and families to achieve maximum health potential that is meaningful to them.
