Clinical Pharmacist

About the Role

We have an exciting opportunity for a highly motivated NZ Registered Pharmacist. This is an opportunity to join a highly engaged pharmacy team with a strong emphasis on clinical service provision and quality, whilst also collaborating with a wide range of teams within Health New Zealand | Te Whatu Ora Taranaki.

You will also participate in the on‑call roster once established in the role. The on‑call duties extend from Monday to Friday 5pm to 8am the following morning, or Friday evening to Monday morning.

Responsibilities

• Dispensing and supplying medications in accordance with hospital protocols and national standards.
• Providing clinical pharmacy services, including medicines reconciliation and optimisation of treatments.
• Offering professional advice to healthcare teams, patients, and carers to promote safe medication use.
